Frame and Anchor Mixer
The frame mixers a low-speed device. Its main purpose is mixing viscous and heavy liquids. Therefore, its diameter is as close as possible to the diameter of the vessel, which makes it possible to capture sedimentary particles during mixing, prevents sticking on the walls and overheating of the liquid. If during the production process there is a need for mixing a less viscous liquid, then the frame mixer easily turns into anchor mixer by eliminating transverse elements from the design.
Purpose of the frame mixer

Design features of frame and anchor mixers
The frame mixer (anchor)is a low-speed mixing device with an impeller resembling a frame in appearance. The drive of the frame mixer selects a gear motor with a low number of revolutions. Frame mixer (MF)can be made of alloyed or stainless steel, PVC. If the MF weight exceeds the permissible values for the suspended state, then the design provides for the addition of a bearing housing.
The diameter of the MF varies from 600 to 3000 mm. The MF frame is detachable and one-piece, depending on its size.
In tanks with a relatively small height, a popular modification of the frame mixer is used —anchor mixer. The impeller of the anchor mixed externally resembles an anchor, which is the reason for its name and does not have the characteristic MF jumper between the shaft and the upper edge of the impeller. Most often, the bearing housing is mounted on the lid of the container, forming a cantilever structure. The mixer, in this case, works, as it were, in limbo.
Both the frame mixer and the anchor mixer can work in tanks with a conical or elliptical bottom. Recall that the size of the mixer approaches the diameter of the vessel, which eliminates the buildup of liquid on its walls, the formation of sediment and local overheating.

Frame mixers are manufactured in two versions: with a coaxially cylindrical gear motor (version A) and with a worm gear motor (version B).
