Folding mixers for a Eurocube
Often there is a need for mixing the liquid components in containers having a narrow neck. A standard mixer cannot pass through the neck, and manually, as you know, the mixing efficiency is significantly reduced. For this purpose, our company offers a special folding design for the mixer. Often it is used in containers such as a Eurocube.
Eurocube is called a cubic tank, convenient for transportation, designed for a capacity of 1000 litres and made of plastic. Interesting design of folding mixer. The shaft of the mixer is equipped with a spider with blades. In a stationary position, the blades naturally fold, which makes it possible to lower them in this state into any neck of the container, in our case, a Eurocube.
After power is supplied to the gear motor and the shaft begins to make rotational movements, the blades straighten in a horizontal position under the influence of inertia. In this position, the mixer becomes an analogue of thepropeller mixer orpaddle mixer, which ensures the proper efficiency of the mixing process.
Purpose of the folding mixer

The impeller of the folding mixer represents, at first glance, a conventional mixer — a propeller, paddle or cone-shaped mixer. However, a distinctive feature of the folding mixer is that the agitator blades are in a folded position at rest. It is this quality that allows it to be used to mix ingredients in such specific containers as a Eurocube. However, here you can talk not only about a Eurocube but also about any containers, the neck diameter of which is not enough to skip the above types of impellers. Depending on the configuration of the tank and the type of mixture, the design of the folding mixer may consist of several tiers. Also, a device for adjusting the speed can be installed on this type of mixer.
Design features of folding mixers
In the process of operation, the MF blades under the action of inertial forces straighten and take a horizontal position, fully performing their main function — mixing. To create turbulent flows that increase the intensity of mixing, the design of the MF can be changed.
As a rule, the diameter of the MS is from 250 to 500 mm.
