Design features of the attrition machine. The attrition machine is a tank inside which a partition is installed to divide this tank into two working chambers. In each of the chambers a mixing device is installed, the drive of which is a V-belt transmission. The working body of the mixer is an impeller in the form of blades or propellers. The attrition machine is simple in construction but efficient and reliable during operation. It is used to scrub quartz sand grain surfaces from oxide films, to disintegrate various materials, and to enrich minerals.
